A little about the Franklin Public Library

Welcome to the Franklin Public Library.  We’re glad you are here.  The Franklin Public Library serves 3,150 residents living within the Village of Franklin.  We are a member of the largest library co-operative in the state, The Library Network, and participate in interlibrary loan and reciprocal borrowing with the other member libraries. 

 

The library holds approximately 15,000 items including books, audio books on CD, DVDs, magazines and a large print collection.  We offer three public access computers and free Wi-fi access a copy machine and faxing services.  Programs include book discussions, knitting group and other adult programs, story hour, playgroups and monthly Saturday programs for youth as well as our Summer Reading program for all ages.

Mission Statement

 

The mission of the Franklin Public Library is to provide materials, services and information for residents of all ages for their recreation, education and lifelong learning.  We offer convenient access and courteous professional service in the center of historic Franklin Village.
