Join Miss Amanda on Tuesdays for Spring Story Time! We will be reading stories, doing crafts, and playing! Look forward to special guest, Miss Caroline, local author of Adventures of Fox. Perfect for birth through preschool age, but if you have older children who love stories and crafts they are welcome, too. Tuesdays in April at 10 am: April 9, 16, 23, and 30.

Get ready to venture to a galaxy far, far away! We will do Star Wars activities and eat a Star Wars snack in order to celebrate, you guessed it, Star Wars day! There may even be a surprise visitor! Costumes and Star Wars or space themed clothes encouraged!

Come learn about the science of human memory and how it relates to changes in the brain during aging and in Alzheimer’s disease. Learn habits and tricks you can use in everyday life to promote cognitive health at any age. Dr. Ana Daugherty is a cognitive neuroscientist who studies changes in the brain during aging and how these relate to changes in thinking and memory functions across the adult lifespan, and increase risk for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia.
