MICHIGAN ACTIVITY PASS and DETROIT ZOO DISCOUNTS

The Michigan Activity Pass [MAP] is a partnership between Michigan’s public libraries and 440+ arts and cultural organizations. The program is designed to provide reduced cost or complimentary access to arts and cultural organizations across the state of Michigan.

Franklin Public Library patrons can print a pass, either from home or at the Library at the Michigan Activity Pass website. Some cultural partners offer complimentary or reduced price admission; others, discounts in their gift shop or other exclusive offers for MAP pass holders only.

Each Michigan Activity Pass expires one week from the date it is printed. Patrons may request one MAP pass per library card every 7 days.  Please note that if you choose to print your MAP pass on a library printer, you may be charged the regular fee that is assessed by the library for printing.  Photocopies of MAP passes will not be accepted at MAP destinations. Only passes printed from the MAP website can be redeemed at MAP destinations.  Prior to your visit, please call ahead or check the museum’s website in order to verify hours of operation, etc.

Michigan Activity Pass is presented by The Library Network and supported in part by the Library of Michigan with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Visit the Detroit Zoo! Thanks to a partnership between The Library Network and the Detroit Zoological Society, Franklin Public Library patrons are eligible to purchase discounted tickets for admission to the Detroit Zoo on the Detroit Zoo website.  Offers include special passes to the Polk Penguin Conservation Center, Discounted General Admission or Total Experience Admission, Dining Vouchers, Parking Vouchers, and Discounted Membership Pricing.
